In a total shocker- a HUGE explosion ripped through Gotham City as a building directly across of the antique "Gotham Gazette Printing Press" was blown up.
Sources indicate that this could be the work of the man known as "Joker" who is currently locked within Arkham Asylum which does NOT help the Asylum's case in staying open.
A reporter managed to get Mayor Garcia's take on the explosion, and once again he expressed total doubt in Arkham.
"We've been told by Commissioner Gordon that Doctor Arkham was alerted of this last night- but he said nothing to the authorities until this morning.. There's nothing GCPD could of done sadly due to Arkham's neglect of disclosure.. This is just plain sickening.."
Mayor Garcia has been adamant in his campaign to shut Arkham Asylum down- especially after the events a decade ago where one of it's highest ranking officials; Doctor Jonathan Crane had been found experimenting on patients, turning them into fear-induced vegetables..
The number of the injured is not known at this time- but one question remains aside of the obvious in why.. Where is.. The Batman?
----------
Gotham's downward spiral is continuing, a building was blown up apparently by those associated with Joker.
With "THE BAT's" absence, things are looking bleak.. Either the criminals will continue to run the streets and overtake GCPD's control or something else- something good will happen..
