Gymnast: When Harleen Quinzel was a young girl, she took Gym classes. This is where she learned that she was not only flexible, but also athletic. Since Harleen was so good at Gymnastic she entered many contest for something to do, at times she won those contests, but at other times she did not. In recent times, she has put her gymnastic knowledge into defending herself against people when it’s needed. She likes how she can avoid people by using a skill she learned many years ago.
Amazing insight on the human mind: As a well-trained psychiatrist, Harley has gone through much training in order to enter her job at Arkham Asylunm. As a PHD Harley had learned much about the human mind, she is fascinated by psychopaths and wonders why they do what they do. She wants a better understanding of the criminal mind, as she try and stop them from committing such crime again. Yet she also wants to understand why heroes feel they should help people.
Harley feels by working with Dr. Arkham she can gain this knowledge, but she also know that she can get close to the people she wants to help. However she became a psychiatrist so could understand why her father did what he did to his family.
STRENGTHS/WEAKNESSES:
Harley is a woman who seems innocent enough, but she is anything but innocent. As a child of abuse, Harley is someone who wants to understand why people abuse children. She finds the mind a very fascinating thing, she wonders what makes people tick and why people act the way they do.
Harley also wants to know what sort of background drives people into crime and what people can do as a society to stop this. She also wants to understand what makes people become heroes, what background they had to make this choice. She is also fascinated by psychopaths, as their minds are almost impossible to understand. She has recently become fascinated by The Joker actions and hopes the interview him in time, as she wants to understand what drives a man to take action such as his.
Then off course, everyone has their weaknesses, off course Harley has them as well. She is very gullible and easily manipulated by people. Even though she tried not to be those things, it can still happen to her. She sometime beliefs the lies she has been told as the true, as she is more willing to belief the lies she has been told. She often uses lies herself to hide her past, she often makes people belief she had a happy child hood when she hasn’t. She beliefs it better to live that life then face the true.
