ABILITIES:
(John is an officer of the law so some fitness is required but he went above an beyond. He is almost an almost Olympic-level athlete. His spirit/ideals are stronger than all but maybe two people in Gotham. Those two of course being Batman/Bruce Wayne and Jim Gordon.
STRENGTHS/WEAKNESSES:
(There are two major weaknesses for officer John Blake of teh GCPD. Firstly is the fact that he isn't the last son of an alien planet, he is just a man. So all the things in this world that spell doom for us mere-mortals does so for John. Being shot, stabbed, hanged, etc, etc.
Secondly, and most importantly, is the fact that John is a police officer. As he isn't a costumed vigilante the law restricts John. He swore an oath to uphold the ideals of the laws of society. Its his job and what he believes in...even if many more don't. So as much as he might wanna beat the snot out of some punk who just raped a woman or killed some kid's parents? He can't. John has to do what is right by the law.
BACKGROUND:
(John Blake was orphaned at a young age when his parents were killed by criminals. The kindness that John was shown by some of the officers that dreary night set him on the path of becoming a police officer. They comforted him as best they could....They sought after the criminals repsonsible and though they never were caught he appreciated the effort. So John knew then that he wanted to eventually make that difference in someone's life.
After years of studying Criminal Justice in school and college, John Blake applied to the Gotham City Police Department. He excelled in the academy and has been on the force about 4 years now. Word is that he could soon be up for a promotion from Gotham's most famous cop: Jim Gordon.
